About the Role - In this role, you will be responsible for the successful planning, execution, and completion of commercial electrical installation projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
- Procure materials and subcontractors, ensuring competitive pricing and timely delivery.
- Lead project meetings with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
- Monitor project progress, identify and resolve potential issues proactively.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and industry best practices.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Proactively communicate project updates, address client concerns, and manage expectations.
- Ensure client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
- Lead and mentor a team of electricians and other project personnel.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Ensure the team is equipped with the necessary resources and support to succeed.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager on commercial construction projects (minimum 5 years).
- Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles and industry standards (NEC, etc.).
- Excellent project management skills, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam).
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong work ethic and commitment to safety.
